Forum Rules.

1. About our Forum.
  1. Anybody is aloud to visit out Forum.
  2. This Forum is exclusively for Russian speaking individuals who live in Arizona. There are exceptions, which could be your friends who used to live in Arizona, and are still in touch with the local Russian community. For validation, please be sure to identify your Location in Arizona (city, county, area of valley).
  3. Our Forum has two types of categories: useful information (these posts will not be deleted automatically; here you can ask questions or post your answers such as recipes, useful links, places to go and so on) and friendly conversations, that you can use for discussions. Friendly conversations forums and categories are marked with the *. All the topics that have not been replied to in the friendly conversations categories within 14 days will be deleted. If a friendly conversations topic would be posted in the useful information category – it will be moved to its correct location.

  1. It’s forbidden to be rude or disrespectful.

3. Methods to keep Forum in order.
  1. All messages that contain forbidden content will be deleted and the accounts of the users who break the rules consistently will be deleted as well.
  2. Accounts of inactive users will be deleted in 6 months.
  3. Accounts of users who are suspected of living outside of Arizona (exception are those who used to live in Arizona and are still in touch with the local Russian community) and those who are suspected of not knowing the Russian language will be deleted.

4. Suggestions.
  1. I encourage you not to leave any personal information that you would consider unsafe to post on the internet. The Administrator is not responsible for the consequences that could arise as a result of your personal information being posted online.
  2. The occupation field is not a requirement; however it is recommended that you fill in the occupation field for networking purposes.

5. Our Safety Precautions.
  1. Only registered users can see personal information of the other users.
  2. Only registered users would be able to see avatars in the posts of our users.
  3. Only registered users will have access to our Forum’s chat.

  1. Our Classifieds have no connection to our Forum. So if you would like to place your add in the Classified, you will need to register there and login separately from the Forum.
  2. Our Classifieds are for anybody.
  3. Unfortunately, our Classifieds doesn’t support Cyrillic.

Suggestions on Forum Use (you have to be logged in).

Here are some Forum particulars I would like to describe.

Forum’s Home page

Control panel (located on the logo)
  • Home – link to the homepage of the phx-club.info.
  • Forum –link to the homepage of the Forum.
  • Chat – link to the chat (a new window will pop out with the chat box).
  • Memberlist- link to the list of the members with their avatars, online status, link to members profiles and some other personal information.
  • Usergroups – link to the list of user groups.
  • Search – link to the search page.
  • FAQ – link to the Frequently Asked Questions page. If you cannot find the answer to your questions here, you can try to find them on the FAQ page.
  • Profiles- link to your profile page, where you can change and adjust your personal information as well as your password.
  • You have … new messages – link to your Forum mail box.
  • Log out – press here to log out.
  • Rules and Instructions – pop out window with rules and instructions.

New posts
  • The categories with the new topic are marked with the orange icon.
  • There is a link to the Recent Topics on the top of the page, from the left hand side. If you go there you will be able see recent topics posted according to your choice: today, yesterday, within 3 days and so on.
  • There is a link to the View Unread Post on the top of the page, from the right hand side. This link will appear red and be enlarged in case of new posts that you haven’t read yet.
  • If you would like to mark all the unread topics as read – press on the link Mark all the topics read, which is located under the list of the forums and categories.

Other
  • You can see all your posts if you press View your posts link, which is located on the top of the page from the right hand side right under the View unread posts.
  • You can see all the unanswered posts if you press the View unanswered posts link, which is located on the top of the page from the right hand side.
  • You can see the list of the users that are online if you press the link Who is Online, which is located on the bottom of the page in the box right under the section with the list of the forums and categories. In the Who is Online box you can see a lot of other useful information.

    • Online status is irrelevant. So please don’t rely on it 100%.

Profile Page

1. To adjust or change setting in your profiles – press Profile link, which is located on the logo.
  1. You can change your password and e-mail in the Registration Information section.
  2. Read carefully through your Preferences and set the best settings that fit you.
    • If you do not want other users to see you e-mail address chose No in the Always show my e-mail.
  3. If you are planning a trip and want to let your friends know that you will be away for awhile and will not be visiting the Forum you can do it with the Away (Vacation) Information box.
  4. Pictures
    • You can upload pictures for your Avatar or your Picture from your computer if you press the Browse button next to the Upload Avatar (Picture) from your machine empty box.
      Avatar width can be no greater than 100 pixels, the height no greater than 100 pixels, and the file size no more than 10 KB.
      Picture width can be no greater than 400 pixels, a height no greater than 400 pixels and a file size no more than 34KB.
    • If you don’t have the right size pictures you can follow the links that are placed in the following text : If you don’t have the proper sized picture, you can resize your picture HERE (or here) free of charge – which is located above the line Upload from your machine.
    • If you do not want to load your picture from your computer and you have online picture storage – you can past the link to your picture into the Link to off-site Avatar(Picture) empty box.
  5. Don’t forget to press the Submit button after you change your settings.

2. To see other user’s profile – you have to press on the user’s avatar or the user’s nickname on any page you see them.

1. Posting
  1. Text. You can make your text Bold, Italic and Underlined. You can make it different colors and sizes. To do so type the text, highlight it and press B, I or U buttons, for color- choose the desired color, for the fort size – choose the Font Size. If you want several setting to the same text – highlight your desired text along with already existing tags applied to it.
    For example code : [size=18][color=red][b]LOOK AT ME![/b][/color][/size]
    will make LOOK AT ME ! words big, red and bold.

    You can also see the Tips, which are located under the Font color and Size tags. Just put your mouse over the button with the name of the tag B, I, U and so on.
  2. Images. You can post images in your message. In order to do so you need to have your picture saved somewhere online (on your website or in one of the picture storage sites). Past the link to the picture you want to appear in your message, highlight it and press IMG button.

    In the Tip right above the text box there is a link to the ImageShack, where you can post your images (for some reason, their site doesn’t always load from the first time-just reload the page if it happens to you). While uploading your image you can automatically resize it. It’s recommended that you choose a size for a website and email (320x240) or less.
  3. Direct links. Linking to another site using [url] tags is disabled and will be unclickable. If a link is placed into the [url] tags it will be invisible for unregistered users.

    You can also see the Tips, which are located under the Font color and Size tags. Just put your mouse over the button with the name of the [URL] tag.
  4. Emoticons. If you press the link View more emoticons a new window with a greater amount of emoticons will pop out.

2. Reading posts
  1. While reading your post you have the options to edit it or to delete it.
    • to edit your message press on the Edit button in the top right corner of your message.
    • to delete your message - press on the X button on the top right corner of your message.
  2. You can report posts of other users if their message contains foul language, spam, are impolite or break other rules of our forum.
